Ladonia has the first female pope in the world. Since she was elected and appointed by the conclave of Ladonia she has been preparing her mind for her great task. Long may she live and rule, pope Astrid I, now her own words:
Hm. Hrm. Hrrrrm. Clearing my throat. Approaching the
sacred land of Ladonia. A Holy Tear rolls down my
cheek. I collect it in a tiny, diamond bottle. Doves
cry in the sky. (Hm. It might be seagulls.) My whole
holy life I have prepared for this moment. I have been
in constant meditation since my appointment. Opening
my heart to the everlasting beauty of Ladonia and its
citizens. Praying that the Allmighty will send me his
angels with a plan more brilliant than ever been
thought of, to keep and defend the sacred land against
all evil. Now finally, I fall on my knees, and I kiss
the soil… stones… of Ladonia. Let me be your
spiritual guide, take me into your hearts, and I will
bless you. In times of peace, and more importantly, in
times of war.
