December in Ladonia

With ‘Santa fly by’ activity imminent, some reinforcements seem adequate.

It has lately occurred to me,
that Ladonia is not quite what people think – it is a very big chess board, with wooden men and stone men, engaged in a slow fight against each other over the years. All initial moves seem to have been made by the huge wooden figures, while the sone men begun to appear a decade later on the board – on cosmic time scales but a trifling difference. The picture shows a giant bishop from the wooden team being prepared for possible santa fly by’s – a third and irrational element to be counted with in cosmic chess games, especially at this time of the year.
