“I like the sense of humor that underlies everything that you do with respect to Ladonia, but I also understand how serious and important the process of creation, creativity and freedom is as well.
I think the one thing that all Ladonians share is an understanding of this sense of humor, as well as the strong passion to be creative. I’ve written a short poem to commemorate my feelings regarding my experiences thus far……(See below)
What It Means To Be A Ladonian
I crave the light of eventide,
I thank the muse that brings me life,
I ply my craft when darkness comes,
Bathed in the glow of midnight’s sun.
No matter what each day might bring,
The voice inside my soul must sing,
I sculpt the driftwood, hum a tune,
And work to satisfy my muse.
The reason for this life is clear –
Create I must or else I fear –
That to the dust my thoughts will fly –
A proud Ladonian am I.
