Jamestown is located 2 1/2 hour drive from San Francisco, southeast along Highway 120 to Yosemite National Park. Population is approx. 2000, and Main St. is where most businesses are located. It is a tourist destination, most visitors primarily come from the central valley cities of California. As a member of the Jamestown Promotions Club, we are tasked to help market, promote and maintain the consistent gold rush ambiance of the town. Our biggest attraction in Jamestown is Railtown 1897, a state historic town that houses 1 of only 2 train roundhouses in the U.S. I operate the International Business Gateway, a virtual business center, with several foreign based businesses, planning entry into the U.S marketplace.
