Consul in Los Angeles

Ladonia has now a consul in LA. Our consul is here presenting herself:

My name is Theresa Villeneuve and I’m happy to be the Consul of Los Angeles.  Here I am wearing the shaming sticker of my people on election day.  This tells the world, “I’m better than you because I voted” and it is used shame others into getting to the polls.  I’m so happy to be a new citizen of Ladonia, where we don’t have to resort to such tactics for involvement in the bigger issues, such as “The dark side” – I’m looking at you, Carlos Andrés –and “gravity” — James Castleden!

In my spare time I enjoy tournament style Texas Hold’em, hanging out with my family, walking my dogs Cleo and Leila, and gardening (doing a lot of all of those things lately thanks to the pandemic).  When we’re not in the midst of a worldwide health crisis, I also enjoy traveling.  In my real world job I’m a film professor and I have had the opportunity to teach in London and Japan for semesters abroad.

I look forward to serving as your Ladonian liaison and tourist trap advisor if you ever come to Los Angeles.  I can tell you things to avoid (like wooden nickels and mystery puddles) and things to seek out (like the ocean, which is also a mystery puddle but on a very grand scale).
