30 November marks St. Anders of the Holy Computer Day in Ladonia

WOTAN CITY, Ladonia — On November 30th, Ladonia comes together to honor St. Anders of the Holy Computer Day, a tribute to the innovative spirit and technical achievements that helped shape our nation’s digital foundation. This day is named after Anders Löwdin, Ladonia’s first webmaster and Minister of Internet, whose pioneering work in the early days of Ladonia established the foundation for the nation’s digital presence.

In addition to his groundbreaking role as Ladonia’s first Minister of Internet, Anders Löwdin is also the author of A Contemporary History of Ladonia (1998), a seminal work that chronicled the early years of Ladonia’s emergence as a cultural and post-national phenomenon. His writings provide invaluable insight into the formation of Ladonia, preserving its history for generations of citizens and supporters.

Though the Ministry of Internet has since been inactivated and Löwdin now resides on the Ministers Emeritus list, his contributions remain vital to Ladonia’s legacy. Löwdin’s work ensured that Ladonia could flourish as a post-national community, connecting citizens around the globe through the power of the World Wide Web.

“As We commemorate this special day, let Us honor the spirit of St. Anders, his literary contributions, and the transformative power of the Holy Computer, which remains the lifeblood of Our global community,” remarked Queen Carolyn in celebration of the occasion.

A Day of Reflection and Creativity
Ladonians are encouraged to celebrate by engaging in creative and technological endeavors—whether building a website, exploring digital art, or reflecting on how the internet unites Ladonia’s citizens. This day serves as a reminder of the transformative potential of technology in fostering connection and innovation.

Happy St. Anders of the Holy Computer Day to all Ladonians!
