Queen Brings Ladonia’s Spirit of Innovation to International Search Summit in Barcelona

BARCELONA, Spain — Queen Carolyn of Ladonia, known professionally as Carolyn Shelby, has arrived in Barcelona to speak at the International Search Summit on November 14, 2024 (tickets are still available as of printing), as part of an extensive two-continent speaking tour. Primarily representing Yoast SEO, where she is supporting the brand as an SEO thought leader, she will present a talk entitled “Hreflang Simplified: Overcoming Global SEO Challenges.”

This summit appearance follows a keynote address at the State of Search conference in Dallas last week, after which the Queen traveled to Amsterdam, where she led two mastermind tables at the Spotlight Conference by SEMRush and delivered a talk at the Amsterdam SEO Meetup. Following her Barcelona session, she will continue her tour back to the west coast of the US to San Diego for BrightonSEO from November 18-21, further engaging with global SEO professionals.

In Barcelona, the presentation will draw from her expertise in technical and enterprise SEO to address the complexities of hreflang implementation for multinational websites. Her insights on overcoming common technical challenges reflect both Yoast’s dedication to simplifying SEO and Ladonia’s commitment to promoting an open, interconnected digital landscape.

While primarily speaking as a Yoast representative, the Queen’s international presence reflects Ladonia’s values of progressive thought and cultural exchange. “The Queen’s participation in these global events reaffirms Ladonia’s standing as a nation unafraid to embrace modern challenges,” stated Julie Andersson, speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Information. “Her Majesty’s dedication to digital advancement embodies Ladonia’s ethos of transcending borders and fostering innovation.”

Queen Carolyn’s ongoing speaking tour highlights Ladonia’s commitment to innovation and knowledge-sharing in digital spaces, reflecting the nation’s alignment with the evolving SEO landscape and global discourse. Foreign dignitaries, diplomats, or Ladonian citizens who would like an audience with the Queen while she is on tour are invited to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
