Crystal Jubilee Medal Announced and Available for Purchase

WOTAN CITY, LADONIA — Her Majesty’s Home Office has formally announced the release of the Queen Carolyn Crystal Jubilee Medal, created to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Carolyn’s accession to the throne on 2 June 2011.

The medal was established by Letters Patent issued under the Great Seal of Ladonia on 8 February 2025, with the full assent of the Queen in Council and on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. It is governed by the Queen Carolyn’s Crystal Jubilee Medal Regulations and forms part of the official Honours System of the Royal Republic of Ladonia.

The medal is circular, silver in color, and features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Carolyn wearing the aquamarine kokoshnik tiara on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription “CAROLYN DEI GRATIA REGINA · LADONIA.” The reverse bears the Ladonian crown, flanked by the dates 2025 and 2026 (the 15th regnal year), and a scroll reading “VIVAT REGINA.” It is suspended from a distinctive ribbon in Ladonian yellow, silver, and green.

Eligibility and Distribution

Medals are being awarded at public expense to key members of the government and royal family, including all current and former Prime Ministers, members of the State Council, the senior two peers of each degree of nobility, and Her Majesty’s immediate family.

Following the initial distribution, 100 commemorative medals have been struck for public sale. These are now available for purchase by citizens and collectors through the official Ladonia Souvenir Shop. Each medal comes boxed with an accompanying undress ribbon (sold separately) and may be worn on occasions where Ladonian decorations are appropriate.

To be eligible to wear the medal, one must be a Ladonian citizen and have been alive on 2 June 2025, the start date of the Crystal Jubilee year. The medal follows the Queen’s Tin Jubilee Medal in the official order of precedence and may be worn with Ladonian or formal attire. A miniature version may also be worn when customary.

Supporting Ladonia

Proceeds from sales of the Crystal Jubilee Medal directly support the preservation of Nimis and the ongoing operation of the Royal Republic of Ladonia. Citizens are encouraged to purchase the medal not only as a memento of this historic reign but also as a show of support for Ladonia’s enduring sovereignty and cultural heritage.

Her Majesty Queen Carolyn stated, “This medal is not only a symbol of my 15 years as Queen, but a tribute to the citizens and stewards of Ladonia who make our nation vibrant and enduring.”
