Quarterly Report from the Home Office: Q1 2025

WOTAN CITY, Ladonia — In alignment with the directive issued by the Prime Minister in May 2025, the Home Secretary has submitted the following summary of work completed by the Home Office during the first quarter of the calendar and fiscal year 2025. The report reflects a period of significant legislative, ceremonial, and institutional progress:

  • Designed and commissioned the breast badge and ribbon drapes for Officers of the Order of Ladon, and submitted recommendations to Her Majesty for the awarding of the first three medals.
  • Designed and commissioned the neck badges for Commanders and Knight Commanders, as well as the sash badge for the Grand Cross of the Order of Ladon.
  • Commissioned Ladonia’s first official state portrait of Her Majesty Queen Carolyn I for inclusion in the Ladonian Royal Collection.
  • Authored and submitted the following Acts and Regulations:
    • Crystal Jubilee Medal Appropriations Bill
    • Official Tartan Proclamation Act 2024
    • Prometheus Medal for Blood Donations Regulations
    • Royal Warrants of Appointment Act 2025
    • The Constitutional Reform Act 2025
    • The Parliamentary Reconstitution Act 2025
  • Oversaw a Committee on Privileges inquiry which culminated in the confirmation of one of Ladonia’s oldest and most distinguished peerages.
  • Completed the formal filing with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service to request 501(c)(3) federal not-for-profit status for the Ladonia Foundation.
  • Designed and registered the Official Ladonia Foundation Tartan with the Scottish Register of Tartans.
  • Designed the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class medals for the Prometheus Medal and established the corresponding eligibility criteria.
  • Drafted additional legislation to be submitted to the State Council during the remainder of 2025.

Citizenship applications and processing

In addition to the initiatives listed above, the Home Office reviewed and processed 203 new citizenship applications during Q1. A total of 152 were approved, with 51 applications declined based on standard eligibility criteria. The Home Secretary, as the signatory for all approved applications, continues to ensure both ceremonial integrity and due diligence in the conferral of Ladonian citizenship.
