Royal Warrants of Appointment: Now Enacted into Law
OAKWOOD HOUSE — The Royal Household of Ladonia has taken a significant step toward formalizing its relationship with trusted suppliers and service providers. As of 4 May 2025, the Royal Warrant of Appointment Act 2025 has officially come into force, following the gracious assent of Her Majesty the Queen and the authorization of the State Council.
This legislation establishes a formal framework for recognizing tradesmen and businesses that have provided goods or non-professional services to the Royal Family over a sustained period. Under the Act, any business with a verified record of three consecutive years of service to a member of the Royal Household is eligible to apply for a Royal Warrant of Appointment.
Applications must be submitted to the Home Office no later than 1 May of each calendar year. Approved Warrant Holders will be publicly announced in the Ladonian Herald by 31 July, with a complete list published each September.
Recipients of the Royal Warrant will earn the privilege of displaying the Ladonian Royal Arms, symbolizing their honorable service to the Crown and their contribution to the excellence and dignity of the Ladonian court.
The Queen’s Government looks forward to celebrating the first cohort of warrant-holding companies later this year—an important milestone in the continued development of Ladonia’s civic institutions and cultural life.
For details on eligibility and the application process, suppliers may contact the Home Office directly.
