Team Ladonia Takes Home 3 Medals in the 2025 eSports Games
WOTAN CITY, Ladonia — Team Ladonia has proudly claimed third place in the medal standings at the 2025 Intermicronational Olympic Electronic Games, earning a total of three medals: two gold and one silver.
Hosted by the Snagovian People’s Republic, the 2025 eGames — officially the Intermicronational Olympic Electronic Games and informally called the Snagolympics — ran from 7 April to 26 May 2025, following a schedule extension due to delays. Originally slated to conclude by the end of April, the competition brought together 29 nations, 40 competitors, and featured 13 events.

Ladonia’s delegation performed exceptionally well:
- Baron Matthew D. Salzer earned two gold medals, demonstrating his strategic prowess in both Gomoku and Reversi.
- Prime Minister Theresa Villeneuve secured silver in Poker, showcasing skill and composure under pressure.
- Minister for Foreign Affairs Yvan Bertjens also competed, lending both diplomatic and competitive weight to Ladonia’s presence.
Medoles topped the overall medal count with six medals, followed by Snagov in second place with five. Ladonia’s third-place finish is a testament to the dedication and digital dexterity of its citizens, and underscores the nation’s growing role in international micronational events — both cultural and competitive.
As the micronational world continues to evolve, Ladonia’s showing in the 2025 eGames reflects the spirit of creative engagement, peaceful rivalry, and artistic innovation that defines our Republic.
