Queen’s Government Advances Legislative Reforms and Jubilee Plans

Crown Princess attends first session as voting member; citizenship applications and legislative reforms discussed

LADONIA — The Queen’s Government met Sunday (1 March) for its regular monthly session, reviewing preparations for the forthcoming Crystal & Pearl Jubilee year and advancing several items of legislative and administrative business.

The Foreign Minister reported on preliminary pricing received from a venue in Lund as part of the ongoing assessment for a proposed 30th Anniversary observance in Sweden this June. A corresponding North American event remains under consideration for later in the summer.

The Government agreed to proceed with the design of commemorative medals or pins to mark the Jubilee year. Final designs are expected to be approved at the next session to allow sufficient time for production should a June observance move forward.

The Crown Princess attended her first meeting as a voting member of the Queen’s Government.

The Home Minister reported that 67 citizenship applications were received during the month of February. Of those, 30 were approved and 18 remain under review.

Among legislative matters, the Government approved a motion restoring the Parliamentary Reconstitution Act 2025 to active status. The Act, originally approved in December 2025, will now proceed to Royal Assent and publication in the Ladonia Herald, bringing it formally into force.

The Home Minister also introduced the Martial Knights of the Ladonian Realm Act for its first reading. The proposed measure would establish three ranks of martial knighthood — Chevalier du Sang, Knight Banneret, and Knight Bachelor — while clarifying their hierarchy, privileges, and obligations within the Remony. Further consideration will take place at a subsequent session.

The Minister of Finance reported on recent technical improvements to LadoniaHerald.com and updates to the Shop’s payment gateway intended to strengthen reliability and improve the experience for citizens and supporters worldwide.

The Queen’s Government meets on the first Sunday of each month.
