What’s wrong with Ohio

Minister Lisa from Ohio sent this letter to the ministers in the Ladonia Cabinet.

“Many in the Cabinet know that victims of hurricane Katrina were “temporarily” resettled in cities all around the US. Oddly, just a handful were willing to come to the Cleveland Ohio region. My town took this especially hard. We really wanted to help those folks from New Orleans and other affected places. To be rejected by several thousand of them was a real blow to our decency and generosity. As something of a refugee myself when I arrived here more than 11 years ago, I also took their rejection with a certain amount of bitterness.”

Leave this mess and go to Cleveland!

Yes, what is wrong with Cleveland, not good enough? I would say it is an amazing place where you can find our minister of mythological beasts.

  1. I am from Slidell Louisiana, 30 miles from New Orleans, and one of the hardest hit areas. My home was destroyed, and I now live in my daughters home. I was evacuated with 33 mentally ill adolescents. I was not allowed to return to Slidell for 32 days. We ate MREs , slept on the floor and had one bathroom for all of us. So unless you are prepared to care for the mentally ill, I would not be offended. Our hospitals are now combining because we have lost so many buildings and staff. Is your area willing to pay the medicare and medicaid for our patients. My daughters and sons have left the state, so here we remain with half walls and cement floors. If you want to help, come down and contribute your time and labor. Help us to rebuild instead of leaving. Some of us are commited to remaining and doing our job.
